Completely renovated in the spring of 2008, the non-smoking Hotel Goldener Schlüssel ("golden key") is a modern, charming hotel with old town flair. It is Berne's oldest guesthouse. The hotel is situated in the centre of the old town of Berne, meaning that all sights can easily be reached on foot in just a few minutes. The famous Zeitglockenturm (clock tower) is just 99 steps away. The hotel features an inviting, characteristic old town restaurant serving refined Swiss cuisine, and is an ideal base for business, shopping and culture.
